A rest owned by a northern Chinese couple. They are very nice, could not speak mandarin well instead they spoke a dialect. You can still understand them 80%. Food was good, big portion, and most of them are yum. Hi La soup was seasoned with tons of spices and made it undrinkable to me, but other customers seemed fine. It could be personal preference. Price is also reasonable. We will be back for more but not Hu La soup. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Noodles

Terrible service! I don't recommend this place at all! I ordered Mapo Tofu on UberEats from this restaurant. The food description wasn't clear and I wasn't sure if the food comes with rice or not. So then I clearly advised them on UberEats order instruction to add a bowl of side rice. When I received my food, there was no rice at all ... Then I straight away called them (B&D Restaurant) and the lady over the phone couldn't speak proper English and kept laughing and saying " two dollar rice, sorry sorry, two dollar". I was telling her that this is a complaint about their service and it is unacceptable. She then said "sorry, you from Uber..." and hanged up on me....
