Pro: 1. I like the Atmosphere, the restaurant is clean and located in a very green area of the city. I enjoyed the Halo-Halo (the Philippines famous street drink). Cons: 1. I was there during the weekend lunch time; it was not crowded. Unfortunately, it took for more than 30 mins for them to prepare my foods (Chicken Adobo and Halo-Halo). Unfortunately, I noticed this slow food preparing also happened to the other tables next to me. 2. Not tasty Chicken Adobo. Chicken's Adobo soup has always been the magic whenever you want to enjoy this meal. However, they just only gave me like a tablespoon of the Chicken Adobo's soup, thus, it was very dry. 3. Bad customer service experience. The waitress successfully welcomed us with a grumpy mood. Not even bothered to say sorry when our orders came very late. I was also requested for Chicken's Adobo soup, unfotunately, she was reluctant to deliver my request to the chef. OVERALL EXPEREINCE It is so unfortunate that this Philippines Restautant is not best in the town, due to some cons. However, I would love to go back only for the Halo-Halo. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

This was definitely the best choice i had made in a longtime. The food was tasty. My favorite was the chicken abodo!! i will choose turon and halo halo as my dessert over and over again. The Customer service experience was good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Totally recommended restaurant/coffeeshop! Barako Kavéház & Bisztro is centered in the eye of Budapest, just walking distance from Corvin plaza. The place is clean and peaceful, perfect for instagrammable shots and coffee with friends! You will feel the Filipino culture ambiance by being surrounded with hardworking Filipino (employees), music, and food! My husband and I liked the garlic (fried) rice with tocino and fried meat menu! I super recommend to have the Halo-halo and ube cake, very delicious! You will surely crave and crave for all their food. Kudos to the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Andres!Vegetarian options: Filipino dishes are not totally vegetarian, but there are some! It depends on the daily menu of the restaurant and chef's choice. You may check the menu or request for specific food restrictions upon ordering.Kid-friendliness: YES! Kids/babies are all safe and secure in the restaurant's premises. Baby chair can be requested from the waiter/waitress.Parking: Parking is available 50 meters around the restaurant/coffeeshop. Waze App is helpful to find your best parking spot! (Free of parking during Sundays in Budapest)Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible, you just have to inform the waiter/waitress.Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions - If you have specific food allergies, the bar of the Barako Kavéház & Bisztro has the list of the food you might be allergic at.
