Stick to the main entrees, burgers are just ok. Bartenders are very attentive. Beer menu on the TV monitors is not easy to see. Parking: Plenty of parking in the structure. Remember to get your parking validated at the restaurant. With a whiskey of the month club, you know Bosscat Kitchen & Libations are not tinkering in the whiskey scene; they're aggressively dominating it. THE FOODS | American comfort food with whiskey infused in many dishes. - Pig Candy | Cubes of crispy, tender, pork belly doused in rye whiskey caramel and contrasting kimchi, culminating into a symphony of savoriness. Disgustingly impressive. - Whiskey Brussels | Shaved brussel sprouts are firm, crunchy, and splashed with house made bourbon sauce. Slices of chinese sweet sausage are mixed into the dish.  I'm not entirely convinced this rendition is the way to go; I prefer soft, tender brussel sprouts and these were too firm for my taste. - 12 Hour Beef Short Rib | Tender & juicy braised short rib with black pepper sauce sitting atop vertically placed scalloped potatoes and brushed with garlic butter in between each potato slat. Sautéed & slightly charred green beans are scrumptiously crisp and smoky. Lightly battered onion strings are delightfully soft with a delicate crunch. Such an incredible entree that should not be overlooked. - Bosscat Burger & Fries | In-house ground beef, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, housemade pickles, & comeback sauce. There's a subtle hint of vinegar acidity that beautifully resonates and works so well with the ground beef, cheese, onion, and sauce. Fries are thick cuts of fried potato with the skin attached. Overall entree is hugely palatable and comforting. - Chocolate Bourbon Buttermilk Bar | Toasted oat crust, sticky buttermilk filling, silky dark chocolate, & sea salt crumbled on top. It's richly decadent and big enough for two to share. THE DRINKS | Whiskey galore. - Whiskey Flight #1 Bosscat Private Barrel | Comprised of different whiskeys created exclusively for Bosscat: 1. Few Bosscat is the smooth going in and smooth as it lingers. My favorite of the three whiskeys offered in this flight. 2. Makers Mark Bosscat is oaky and sharply lingers in your throat. We used the dropper to add a few drops of water to "open up" the flavors and noticed the leathery notes, similar to the leather belt my dad used to beat me with as a child (it's a joke, relax). 3. J.J. Pfister Bosscat is also oaky with slight floral notes and horse hooves galloping through a wheat field. - Spice Trader | Cocktail composed of wild turkey rye, passion fruit, all-spice, citrus, & bitters. Like a whiskey sour, citrusy and spiced. THE BOSSCAT FEELS | Steampunk sexy with diffused lighting and early/late 90's to early 00's hip hop music reverberating throughout the dining hall & bar. I almost felt like I was surrounded by art installations. A collage of old trunks (slashed in half) are affixed to the wall, creating makeshift shelves for displaying books and liquor. Gold birdcages showcase an eclectic collection of whiskeys in a semi-glass enclosed private tasting room. A monstrous grid of vintage oak barrels adorn another wall located in their covered outdoor patio. It's rebellious Victorian grandeur meets speakeasy prohibition vibes. THE PARKING SITUATION & RESERVATIONS | Went on a Saturday afternoon at 3:30PM. The parking structure's mechanical arm gates were all open; we drove straight through (following Bosscat parking signs) to the third floor and parked near the elevators. In other words, parking was free on that day and time. We then took the elevator to the ground level and another Bosscat sign pointed us in the right direction. The signs were really helpful! Recommend making reservations because this place is so damn cool that you should secure a seat ahead of time. We arrived just when they were re-opening for dinner, so it was initially empty in the dining hall, but quickly filled up as guests poured in for dinner.
