Visited 6/19/2019 I am a traveler from California, USA. Funny story about this place. I got here early in the morning and was waiting for the roof area of Victoria Peak to open. Thought to eat something, looking around this was one of the places open so I decided to visit. I chose to sit outside. This places to seemed to have a sophisticated class to it, but welcomes everyone. I ordered a breakfast plate of a little of everything. When I took a bite of the eggs, I suddenly thought I had ate these eggs before. The way they are cooked, how they are light and moist is unique. Finally looking around where I was, was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I've eaten at his restaurants in Las Vegas so I was familiar with how his eggs are cooked. I haven't really eaten a stuffed tomato before (not really my food of choice) but it was surprisingly good. Everything on the plate was great.

Bread Street Kitchen & Bar by Gordon Ramsay was an experience for my partner and I. The efficient, notable and entertaining service provided by Jasper and his colleagues definitely complimented the atmosphere the restaurant provided.To begin with, we were greeted warmly upon arrival and were promptly brought to our table, staff ready to serve. We ordered the prosecco as our drink of choice, scallops and beef tartare as our starters, and beef wellington as the main.Named Bread Street, the restaurant definitely highlights this with their complimentary bread served. The fact that the bread packs so much flavours, the loaf being light, and is complimented with the caramelised onion and butter, it definitely holds up on being the Bread Street of Victoria Peak.My partner was definitely surprised with the quality of the pan-seared scallops, cooked thoroughly while maintaining that zest of freshness. While the beef tartare was quite heated, it was a welcoming heat on the taste buds, not too unbearable or instant, like the warmth you feel sitting by the fireplace. The sauce used to marinate the beef was definitely unique, combining and balancing sweetness, saltiness, spiciness, a real party of flavours on your taste buds - complimented by the crunch of the tacos provided as well.This was followed by the iconic and well-famed Beef Wellington. Although it is an expensive dish, we understand it's worth and was glad we ordered this. As the main course was served by the kind-hearted and caring Jasper who provided complimentary wine that definitely complimented the Beef Wellington, we were excited to get a taste of the dish as the aroma grew at our table. Even the neighbouring guests wanted a piece.The one grain of salt I personally had with the wellington was to do with the temperature when the dish was served -- to just have it a tiny bit hotter, as the dish is prepped to serve, it did cool down quite a bit while we were enjoying the deliciously tendor meal. The technicality of the dish was executed brilliantly, the mash potatoes creamy as it should be, the sauce smokey yet flavourful, the pastry crisp which pairs well with the soft duxelle, and the meat tendor and soft while maintaining its flavour - you could even cut the meat with a spoon if you had to!We ended the night with a Love Potion No. 9, recommended by Jasper, because why not end the night on a loving note? The overall experience was wonderful, with the staff working efficiently as they cater to your needs and evening, and enjoying wonderful dishes that has definitely excited our taste buds.
