Its opposite unforgettables and a pretty decent place space wise. We entered an empty cafe and probably thats the reason why it was kind of hot in there. Summers are back unfortunately and the moment you step into a cafe, you look forward to a chilled atmosphere automatically. Nevertheless, the lady at counter soon rushed to turn on both the ACs and fans and brought us the menu. Not quiet hungry, I decided to order the green apple ice tea which was probably a new addition to the menu or maybe it had just been a long long time since I had visited one of its branches. It was quiet different than the Bodakdev branch considering there were 3 menus instead of one. Prashant went for the fries and garlic bread. We ordered and as we were waiting for the order, we both checked out the place and clicked some pictures for zomato. (The thing we do ALL THE TIME). Most of out dates are spent clicking pictures of the place we are checked in and discussing about our ratings and review. :D
The ambience of the place was pretty decent and within five minutes of turning on the ac, it was all chilled and pleasant. The seats are super comfortable with different types if chairs an couches an bean bags. The overall place was pretty neat and tidy. The people were also very friendly smiling and courteous. The service amazing, nothing to complain about. And the order came to our table pretty fast too.
The green apple ice tea and lemon ice tea.. Both were brilliant. I mean one can literally get the exact taste of green apple and at the same time, it was neither too sweet nor too blah. It was perfect. Although its difficult to mess up an ice tea, a of places still serve horrible ice teas and manage to screw it up very royally. Luckily, in this hot hot atmosphere, we had the perfect ice teas on our table! Then came the fries, which was pretty okayish and like normal french fries at any other place. The garlic bread, well, looked really off and the taste wasn't really pleasant either. But we spent almost an hour on the things we had ordered and were able to very easily spend some good time together. No disturbances or constant interference and a peaceful atmosphere. And even though the people started pouring in later on, it didnt feel crowded or suffocating. It just got better. And the selection of hindi songs played that very day was even commendable. Not a huge fan of songs at a cafe, but that day it really was refreshing probably because of the choice of songs being played. It was indeed a beautiful afternoon.
Then finally after an hour, we were hungry again and so ordered the masala maggi and another green apple ice tea. The masala maggi was quiet good too and again, one of the safe choices to order. You can never ever really go wrong with Maggi.
The place is a wonderful option all in all, if you are just planning to visit it to kill some time peacefully. I certainly am not recommending this place if you find yourself craving for something or looking for a place to eat. Its not an eatery and is more of a cafe to cheer you up with its soothing environment and enabling you yo spend some quality time together. Whether on a date or with friends and you are looking for a place where you can sit and gossip or catch up on "all that long overdue talking", this is the place you are looking for. :)
