Worth all the money... The stirred tartar is very close to being the best piece of smørrebrød I have ever been served. Old cheese with cloud, raw onion and rum is also a hit. Finally, an apple cake that was well balanced between sweet and tart. I would love to come here again. You can park right outside the door and there is easy access, even for people with walking difficulties. It's not exactly cheap, but you get so much for what you pay for. We visit Blavand each year in the summer and a visit to Cafe Danmark in Esbjerg is a must since we first discovered this authentic danish restaurant. If you want real danish food at reasonable prices and very friendly service: Make a reservation and look forward to a unique experience. Try to sit outside in the garde when visiting in the spring or summer.
