Initially entering, the staff was so lovely! I ordered the mexican skillet (which i have ordered before and loved) and my friend ordered the harissa humous which she enjoyed . I couldn’t eat the mexican skillet this time round because it tasted horrible. i didn’t say anything because i didn’t want to disturb anyone and i know it’s hard being a server, so i shared my friends harrissa humous meal and asked for the bill. When the server saw the unfinished skillet, she asked if the portion was too big and i said yeah and she walked away shaking her head and commenting on how much food i’ve wasted with her coworkers. This made me upset firstly. Secondly, i got the bill and explained to her after her comments and rude gestures with her friends and coworkers that i couldn’t eat the skillet because it tasted off and i didn’t want to disturb anyone so i didn’t say anything. To which she replied “Well next time say something.” and walked away .This made me feel so embarrassed and upset. I felt like i was the only one being treated like this in the entire cafe. I think cafe strange brew needs to review who they are employing, the customer service was awful. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
