Whenever we are craving BBQ, CatHead's is our go-to. I would have given this place 5 stars but today's incident left a sour taste in my mouth. It was a co-worker's birthday today and we ordered a fair amount of food. As we were waiting, I saw one of the ladies with our order checking things off to make sure everything was included in our order. Normally for a large order, I take the time to look to see if everything is there. But because I saw her doing that and she reassured me everything was there, I didn't double-check. We drove 30 minutes back to our office and notice some of the side dishes were wrong (we got beans instead of potato salad), and a whole order of chicken and sides were missing. I call to let them know (keep in mind, I love CatHead's so I'm not going to be rude to someone) and instead of being apologetic, she starts talking to me like she's annoyed with me for calling out their mistake. All she says is well you can drive back and pick it up. Last time we ordered from them, our biscuits weren't included in our order and someone drove all the way to our office to drop them off. I asked if that could happen and she flat out said "no". This employee clearly lacks customer service. I get if it's a busy day and they can't do it. But you're really going to flat out say NO. I requested a refund instead and she said "well it's going to take time." I understand I am not going to get my refund right away. But man, at least be understanding. Someone didn't get their WHOLE meal. I wasn't being rude or anything for her to come at me with that attitude and she's not even going to have the decency to at least say "we apologize for that inconvenience" SOMETHING. All she did was throw a half-assed "sorry" before hanging up. The food is obviously great, brisket being one of their best items on the menu and I love CatHead's BBQ but please get it together. I understand that it's not that deep but still leaves a sour taste.
