Wow, this place was unexpectedly good. Big portions and great food. I got the short rib rice bowl, but the ramen and other rice bowls looked delicious as well.

We made an rsvp & arrived a little early no problem being seated as the place was not crowded. Once seated we started with some drinks gave the spiked lemonade a try, it was good nice taste. on the food we ended up sticking with the appetizers, we had Black pepper beef taco, wow this was great nice taste to it nice combo with the meat, avocado & cilantro. next the Duck wings another wow here these were delicious really great tasting with sugar glaze, duck wings? who knew!! Next up the Pooty fries very good as well these fries are asian poutine with cheese curds & short rib gravy, very tasty. & Finally the Lettuce wraps u have pork sausage with some cilantro, basil & onion great taste all together. Small location, nicely decorated .. service was good we happen to come in during happy hour so that was nice since they offer some specials on drinks & appetizers. everything we had was very tasty , decent drink & prices we enjoyed our time here.

First came here for my bday dinner 2 wks ago then on V-Day since we love it so much. Review is based on my 1st visit here and yes I ate all the below lol! As soon as you step in you"ll find a cute intimate cozy place. The vibe is very chill-lax. We started off with their happy hour specials. 1) Beef Tacos-delish & executed well! Appreciated the crispy wonton shell and sliced avocado accompanied by season beef,  cabbage, mint and red chili pepper slice. 2) Plum Glazed Duck Wings- loved the sweetness to it and the added sesame seeds, scallions and garlic chips. 3) Duck Bao-had good amount of duck w/ trimmings but would preferred slices than chunks to hold up everything together.4) Pooty Fries- reminded me of disco fries but in a better supped ul version. Came with 5 spice braised short rib and cheese curd pieces in sauce w/ crispy fries Entree: 1) roast duck rice bowl w/ fried egg. My dish was perfect!Good amount of slicked duck breast. Duck was moist, well seasoned and skin was crispy. Originally was hesitant about ordering it because of the Sichuan spices since im a punk to heat but there was no tongue-numbing burn just darn tasty duck. I actually love there duck compared to peking duck now. 2) smoked bone broth ramen-boo added the spicy ground pork , roasted tomatoe and fried egg. I got to sample his and ramen bowl was really good & tasty. Had to take a couple more.of spoonfuls. Contained heaping size of pork. All the elements of it w/the smokiness of the broth resembles a smoked saugage/pepperoni flavor. Mindblowing how they got their stock that flavorful. But damn good! 3) Japanese Eggplant- grilled and served whole Loved the miso sauce with it. Drinks- 1) spiked Rhubarb Lemonade 2) bottle of Nigori Sake. Both were very good. Dessert: Molten Lava Cake- didnt want dessert was so full. My boo got the server to surprise me w/this. Thankfully she chose this and I was in heaven. Not your typical usual lava cake. Was accompanied by scoop of banana ice cream and this particular cookie crumb. It enhanced the entire dish and elevated the banana flavor even more. This dessert had all the components in one. Cake was soft and gooey with oozing cholate with the hotness of it mixed with cold of the ice cream and the crunch of the cookie crumbs made it complete!. Came back on V-Day to have this dessert and tried 2 others but this still is the bomb! 2nd Visit, Chef/Owner Matt and server continued to welcome us and treated us like we were part of the family. I respect that owner is so involved with the community, checks up on his patrons on every table and really wants to ensure all parties are simply doing what they came in for: Enjoy Eating! I highly recommend this place if you want a simple good filling meal w/o all the distractions. They just know how to execute their food well and cant wait to try more dishes
