In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Girias Children's Explorium, stop by this restaurant. Indian cuisine is to the pleasure of all guests here. Musicians play live music in the evening.

P.S: This place is good for organizing parties or events for special occasions as a group, but not that great for a person/family/friends looking for fine dining and good food.
Mostly, it is meant for you to have a good time other than dining.
Location: this is a big building situated in Domlur; pretty close to Dell office and on the way to the 100ft road,Indiranagar.
Service: once we enter after paying amount, they will greet you with some starters and drinks. There are many other facilities available other than only food like: Palmistry, Magic (which is pretty cool), Puppet shows and you can buy stuff from there too.
There are people playing instruments and women dancing to the Rajasthani songs is a treat to watch while eating!
They served the Thalis pretty quickly and we could come for second helpings too.
Ambiance: it is pretty good. This restaurant emphasizes the fact that it is a Rajasthani restaurant through the means of their ambiance.
They wear Rajasthani clothing, the whole restaurant itself is completely Rajasthani themed, they even let me wear their turbans!
But, the music volume should be reduced a bit as it eventually turns out to be noise.
There are various dolls and figurines all over this place and there is a tree under which we can sit and relax a bit! -- really nice concept!
Food: the food is nice, but there are some notable flaws in it:
>it is a bit extra spicy.
>all dishes taste the same.
I would like to say that if the food aspect of this restaurant improves, then the whole restaurant will change for the better.
I'm sorry to say, but I would certainly prefer the thali served in Rajdhani restaurant, even though both these restaurants serve almost the same dishes as there is quality in their food (Rajdhani).
Again, if the food improves, this restaurant will be worth your time and money.
Thumbs ups:
*Ambiance
*Service
Thumbs downs:
*Food
*Noise from music
Would I come back for more?
----Probably.
Overall, my experience in Chokhi Dhani Royal has been good but not the best in terms of food.
