My go to hot pot place. Good price for all you can eat. Decent selection in each category, great service comparing to other hot pot places in town. Must get the deep fried buns with condensed milk ($1 extra) as dessert. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Hot Pot

What attracted us to Claypot Hot Pot and BBQ were the pictures that other patrons posted on google featuring their multi-tiered hotpot, bbq, and steam pot in one. You start off by selecting a broth which ranges from $10 to $18. And for the $10 broth you could have a half-and-half split for $15; essentially 2 different broths in the pot.It is an AYCE place only and charges about $24 / adult. Children are a lesser rate. There are ample food varieties and they definitely don't cheap out. Tea is included but drinks are very reasonable too, with plum beverage and pop also comes with free refill for only $1.50, it is quite a steal. The downside are their side dishes like green onion, chives, cilantro, preserved egg, egg, etc. which they charge $1 for each item. Service was fine though when the bill came they only charged us for one drink, which as soon as they noticed the lady hurried to add it back on. Didn't apologize for the mistake - so I could see how other reviewers claimed their bad experience when it comes to paying the bill at this restaurant.Overall we thought it was a very cool experience trying out this multi-tiered cooking pot. Food was good, service was ok, price was ok at best.
