Very cool bar with extremely courteous service that offers the same menu as the neighboring Colonialen 44. Here you can experience a real Norwegian evening with excellent food and interesting guests. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a nice, enthusiastic welcome and adequate service! We chose a three course course. All dishes tasted fantastic. The bread and the whipped butter: Divine! The portions may be a bit on the small side. However, Dutch people have to get used to the high price. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was here in March 2022 but forgot to write a review until now. We were at a champagne tasting here on a Saturday in March and the bride was very happy. But it turned out that they had booked a private tasting or something like that which meant that a select few had to go before everyone else. It ended with us being "thrown out" before several of us had drunk the samples we had been given. We tried to report this but were told to leave. We were a group of 5 ladies and we were not noisy or anything else that would indicate that we were the ones who had to leave. In addition, I observed and informed that there were several participants who had finished drinking who could be asked to leave, but they should certainly have the seats in the corner we were sitting on and it was not appropriate to ask those who had finished to leave from the place. We paid a good sum to attend this tasting and were disappointed with the treatment we received. Maybe we weren't "pretty", "rich" and or good enough? I certainly do not recommend this place for attending tastings or other events. This was the highlight of the trip we were on and ended up being the biggest disappointment. We were given just over 1 hour for the tasting and that is far too short a time to taste through so many champagnes. Sat with the feeling afterwards that here it was a matter of sapping what you were given and not enjoying it.
