Highly recommended. Great meals, every single one. Homey, unassuming place. Best chili ever. Ever. Coconut Mac nut pancakes delicious. Shrimp Benedict wonderful. Juicy burgers. Broasted chicken very good. Food arrives when ready, not held until entire table order is ready. Currently limited hours. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I have lived on this island for over 32 years and one of my first and favorite restaurant was Kino's Kimchee. I ate at that restaurant at least 3-4 times a week. This is the same owner of Daddy O's restaurant I tried to place a simple take out order from today. I walked in around 1130 am to place an order...the female Owner came towards me 2 minutes later and said we closed for sit down but I always order takeout. She tells me I have some other table orders to take and I will be right with you. I said ok and just waited by the register. One of their seated customers got up to come stand behind me to pay his tab. I see her stopping what she is doing to come back to the register, meanwhile a young local couple comes through the door for seated service. The female owner comes up and looks around me to reach for the tab of the guy leaving and the guy(tourist) tells her that I was waiting first. She still insisted on taking the tab first instead of my order....plus she turned away the young local couple although it was only 1130 and they close at 1pm. Sadly this is a family restaurant I supported on all 3 restaurants adventures they had. When I turned around as I walked out without ordering, looks like it was completely full of tourists. No support from this guy anymore. I ignored the (no aloha ) every time but today I was over it.
