We had to wait for an hour for our food even though the place wasn't crowded. But it was definitely worth it. 5 stars for the food itself

I used to love Dellz a lot and I feel that as time went by the quality died a little bit as well. I wish they would go back to making their own chips for the nachos again and when I got my nachos yesterday they were out of the snobby crumbles a few minutes after opening ( but they are relocating soon so I get it) I also didn't really have that many toppings like normal, it was a very thin layer of toppings and a lot of cheese which is not normally how it came and I feel that the portion is a lot smaller too. It used to be huge and I was a little disappointed because of all of that and the fact that the smaller plate of nachos was still $15. I still love DellZ, I just wish it was like how it was before.

I was in Charleston, SC for a week-long conference and looking for vegan food. Let me tell you, it was a true challenge in the land of southern comfort food. My first two meals were horrible and then the Vegan heavens opened up and Dellz Uptown was recommended to me. What a wonderful, magical restaurant. The food was out of this world. The owner, Dell and her staff are AMAZING. A true testament to southern hospitality. I took my non-vegan friend and she was licking her bowl literally she thought it was so good. We ended up eating there 3 more times during the conference. I even did an Uber Eats one day for lunch because the food at my hotel was so bad. This is a 10-star restaurant in my opinion for vegans and non-vegans. My only regret is that I didn't buy 15 bottles of the Dellz sauce. It was so amazing. I've never had anything like it before. I called and unfortunately they don't ship. I hope they rectify that situation in the future or see my review and take pity on me and do a one-time shipment. :-) If my travels ever take me back to Charleston, I will definitely be eating at Dellz Uptown morning, noon and night. Dell, keep up the great cooking! Your Chicago fan!
