Официант (с бейджиком супервайзера) был любезен, пока не услышал, что мы хотим лишь десерт. Мгновенно изменился в лице и запинающимся языком мямлил что-то про "у нас сейчас ужин, а десерты это не ужин".
Представляете, он попросил нас не занимать стол больше часа!!!
Ещё больше хамства вы услышите, когда спуститесь к 3 столикам у воды Dukley Seafront: на рецепции девушка молча улыбнётся, громила на входе молча пропустит и ... через минуту прибежит бледный фициянт и начнёт бубнить про "приватную зону" и про "150€ с человека" - только за то, что мы там сядем!!!
В Dukley Seafront Restaurant не сервис, а просто позор Черногорского гостеприимства!!!
Where do I even start with this place... This is supposed to be one of the best and most high-end restaurants in Montenegro, but the only thing high-end about it are the prices, which are overinflated and nothing at this restaurant justifies them.
First of all, let me tell you about the service. You'd think that for this price you'd be getting only the best, but the servers are absent minded and don't really care for your all that much. For example, when we came we were taken to our table by the host and had to sit there for at least 15 minutes before one of the 9 waiters on shift noticed that we hadn't received our menus yet. The waiters do just that - they wait. You'll be sat there with empty plates and glasses around you until someone notices you. If you've been to a high-end restaurant before you'd expect the waiter to notice every detail, but not here.
Now onto the food. We had the mushroom tagliatelle as the starter and the presentation was awful - just a bunch of pasta on a plate, no garnish, decoration or anything. It tasted bland, you could barely taste the mushrooms, so essentially you're just eating pasta woth a slight hint of mushroom. One of the mains we had was the chicken, which was cooked well, but lacked any creativity or taste, so you're just getting a chicken breast with some bland veggies. And now onto the star of the show - the dry aged Black Angus Ribeye steak... When you're paying ove 100euros for a steak you'd expect it to be cooked exactly how you asked (I asked for medium-rare), but it was all over the place - half of it was cooked au bleu and the other half - well-done. The waoter tried to justify this by saying that it's difficult to cook a steak of that size perfectly, but it's really not, it just shows the lack of competence from the chef.
Having been in the restaurant business for numerous years I can tell you that the only thing this place offers is bragging rights that you ate something for the price of a month's rent.
All in all, I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this place. You'll have a much better experience elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. I've been to kebab shops with better service and food than this place...
