The Eis-Greissler in Klagenfurt impresses with excellent ice cream and an impressive variety of special and vegan varieties. The visit to the Geissler ice cream parlor turned out to be another highlight of our trip. This small ice cream parlor surprised everyone with its range of unusual ice cream flavors that go far beyond the usual spectrum. The choice fell on gray poppy seeds and semolina pancakes - both varieties that you don't find every day. Graumohn offered a slightly bitter, yet authentically poppy taste experience, while Semolina Schmarrn perfectly captured the sweet, familiar taste of the Austrian dessert of the same name in ice cream form. A walk through the area, with a stop at Geissler, gave the day a particularly charming touch and was a welcome change. The opportunity to try such creative ice cream creations made the visit a little adventure for the palate.

I've been a customer at Eis Greissler for years. It tastes really good. I really don't think it's okay to charge 50 cents more for a divided ball for a toddler. Nobody does that, even from the competition.
