One of the fine vegetarian restaurants nearby BSK. Entrance looks dull like an under construction floor, the management should improve it to look like a restaurant. Parking : A limited parking in front of the restaurant. For 4 wheelers they have valet parking. Too much of salt in Masala Papad, never recommend Jaljeera and Aam panna was tasty Pudina Paneer was not up to our expectations Garlic naan was like not soft at all, never expected this Rotis was as usual not special about it. Overall I won’t recommend this place. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

If you are looking for a vegetarian fine dine, look no further, Hara Fine Dine, true to its name serves some delectable North Indian fare with a tinge of Chinese to satiate your vegetarian taste buds completely.

I was a little adventurous and decided to go all green themed to order from the menu, starting with a Z.Corn Soup with the goodness of chopped spinach, and corn in a sweet and spicy thick soup that also had an overload of spring onions. I loved the earthness coming from the just blanched spinach and it was a very filling bowl. Going with a green theme, I ordered a Karela Salad and a Bhindi Kurkure.

The karela salad version here was made with crispy rings of bitter gourd, tossed in a tangy sweet sauce with onions, it was a deliciously bitter sweet salad that I polished off. The Bhindi Kurkure was again different from the regular versions, here it was made with thin slivers of ladies finger, almost shredded, were deep fried after a dip in a gram flour batter, tossed with onion and dry mango (amchur) powder. It was well seasoned, and crunchy till the end, a perfect starter.

For mains, still sticking to the green theme, I ordered a chili and olives naan, again something out of ordinary on a traditional naan bread, paired with Bhutta Palak Methi, a creamy sweet corn in a savoury chopped spinach and fenugreek leaf gravy, with a corn methi pulao, which was a little different from what I had expected.

The Chili Olives naan was a great fusion that I enjoyed, the spicy hit paired with the slighly sour black olives on a buttered down naan was a delicious experience, especially with the earthy, creamy, mildly sweet, Bhutta Palak Methi gravy.

Having tasted the corn methi pulao from Sahib, Sind, Sultan, one of my favourite restaurants [sadly shut down now] years ago, I was expecting something as good as that, but the version served here was more dry like a fried rice, than the version I liked which is very green methi paste tossed and cooked together almost like a layered biryani. Nevertheless the taste here at Hara was extremely good, managing to capture the essence and earthiness of methi and corn in a flavourful bowl of pulao. I did add the Bhutta Palak Methi gravy to induce more methi palak flavours into the pulao.

For dessert, I broke the green theme and went onto brown, with a tempting chikmagalur filter coffee ice cream. Being a big fan of mocha ice cream, even though I had a cold and drinking hot water, I could not resist this temptation of a filter coffee ice cream and I indulged in this excellent version that was true to its origin, loved it and highly recommended.

Service was good, the staff were non-intrusive, and helpful, all the ordered dishes arrived in a gap of 5-10 mins from the efficient kitchen.

If you are looking for a vegetarian fine dine, around BTM layout this is the place to be to enjoy a big weekend lunch with your loved ones.
