No cars in the parking lot.... should have been the first clue! When you walk to be seated you can buy key chains , hello kitty hair bows or bracelets clue #2 ! The food ( if that is what you choose to call it) is very poorly prepared! I tried a little of several things and the only thing I could even tolerate was egg drop soup! But the Diet Pepsi was good! AVOID LIKE the plague!

We don't have very many Chinese places in this area that can talk the Hong Kong King Buffet. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the atmosphere is laid-back.

There's a reason why the ratings are so low and why the rate of customers entering is so low. The food here has gone down greatly in quality. The trays are now half-filled to nearly empty. Their food is bland, dry, and devoid of flavor. Over a decade ago this place had tons of amazing seafood. Nowadays there are no longer any of quality. The crabs are tiny, over-salted, and hard to eat. The crawfish? They now try to pace you by filling only 1/3 of the tray. Once it's empty they refuse to refill it until newer customers show up. I was also annoyed with our service. There were barely any customers so I don't see why they were in a rush to get us out. I was in the middle of eating and my family had just gotten up to go look at the empty trays when I was given the receipt. I told our waitress flatly that we were not done. She quickly walked away with the receipt and no apology. Save yourself time, money, and patience and just go to the other buffet in the Big Lots' plaza.
