Hunter & The Chase is definitely a hidden gem in Central for weekend brunch. For HKD$248, you get all the starters listed on the left side of the menu, one main (middle of the menu), and also one dessert (right side of the menu). You could also add HKD$198 for free flow if you wish.Also, you would be served unlimited Caesar Salad and Crispy Triple-Cooked Fries. The Caesar Salad was so good with the cheesy salad dressing, it would be even better if there are dried bread cubes. The fries were amazing, we couldn’t stop eating them, really crispy indeed!We were first served with this Italian Cold Cuts & Beetroot Cured Salmon, and it set a high standard for the meal ahead. Ham and salami were good. The beetroot cured salmon was outstanding with a hint of sweetness from beetroot. We left the sourdough toasts untouched as we could foresee a big feast ahead…The Mac ‘N Cheese Balls on top were a bit dry, it would be great if there were more cheese inside. The Fried Head Cheese Sticks on the bottom were amazing! The pulled pork inside did give us a pleasant surprise.Even these Balsamic Glazed Wagyu Beef Skewers were at room temperature instead of hot when served, the balsamic dressing made it up to let them stay delicious. The wagyu beef was actually quite tender.We were already quite full after all the salad, fries and starters. Luckily we didn’t go for the beef burger to save ourselves from some carbs. Instead, we got this Grilled USDA Prime Hanger Steak. It was very tender and meaty.I can’t help but got this Coa Au Bin Fried Chicken & Waffles. The fried chicken was very delicious, and the homemade red pepper sauce was absolutely a must try! The waffle was good too but I could only manage half of it…Sorry food…I wish I had a bigger stomach…As for dessert, we got Coconut Cake and Rich Chocolate Cake. This Coconut Cake was gorgeous!! I love the shredded coconut and the rich coconut flavor. And yes, you could guess how filling it was…in a good way though.The Rich Chocolate Cake was a bit ordinary, but still quite tasty.We couldn’t really talk after having so much food for brunch unexpectedly, and had to rest a bit on the comfy sofa before we could get going. So, brace up for this buffet like big American brunch!
