For decades, Würstchen Müller was THE permanent institution on the Elberfelder Neumarkt and at various folk festivals. A wide variety of professional groups and age groups met and still meet today to eat a currywurst or onion sausage in nice or typical Wuppertal weather. Nothing has changed here. What has changed, however, are the prices (inflation sends its regards), but also partly the employees. The first means that a currywurst with fries and mayo now costs 6.50 euros. Considering that you eat them on site with self-service, it's quite sporty. At the beginning of the year we were still at 6 euros, before that we were significantly lower. But most of the employees have also lost the charm of back then. Where customers used to have nice conversations, today you get the impression that some people are more concerned with themselves or their colleagues than with customers. The customer sometimes feels like a disruptive factor. The grumbling that occurs when orders are not made loudly and clearly can still be equated to a Köbes in Cologne, but here (unlike back then) it sometimes comes across as unfriendly and inappropriate. So unfortunately only 2 stars today.
