We have been eating and ordering from Izumi for years, but tonight's delivery meal was very disappointing. We had ordered for delivery at 6:00 PM, but when nothing had arrived at 6:30 PM, we called ourselves. We received a very lukewarm apology and a promise that they were arriving now. Delivery was finally made at 6:45 PM, but the quality was also not what it should be. We ordered five hot dishes, but only one bowl was actually warm, the rest were very lukewarm to almost cold. The shrimp were burnt and looked sad, and the kangaroo cubes were so coarsely chopped that they were still hanging together. The mushrooms were also coarsely chopped and the sauce watery. Actually, only the sweet and sour vegetables and soy beans were tasty. We hope this was a one-off mistake, because we always enjoyed coming here.
