We came for lunch after searching for a good restaurant in Überlingen. We were the first customers and got seated in the dark corner of the restaurant. The service was extremely slow. Even though it was not busy, I stood up after 10 min waiting to get the menu. The amuse bouche was disappointing. All cold. We ordered the starter with the Languste. The sauce and Languste were good. The soggy (which was supposed to be probably crispy) tortellini was not good. The beef with pepper sauce was ok, nothing exciting. The dessert with mascarpone cream was not a cream but a gummy ball which was not edible. Very disappointed. Will not return. Service: 2 Location: 2

The hotel is located in a quiet little suburb of Überlingen. It is well equipped and the rooms are very clean and large. The bathroom has been newly renovated. There is a minibar and a sofa bed. We were there for 2 days with breakfast and dinner. The food was very tasty and sufficient and we were even greeted personally by the boss at the breakfast table. The spa area was very nice and clean. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back. Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
