The two of us had dinner here in the evening. The two starters (pulpo and goat cheese) were good but nothing special. For main courses we ordered scallops and truffle spaghetti. The scallops were good, but very plain. The spaghetti wasn't tossed in the supposed truffle oil at all. The cellar said maybe they had forgotten that. He then offered that we could order something else. The tuna was good and the portion was good too. However, from then on we were ignored. No question whether we would like to order dessert or more wine or anything else. For the prices quoted, simply disappointing. A pity. While in the neighbourhood, we were stuck for somewhere to go at 9pm on a Saturday night. Having been quite rudely told "das geht gar nicht" at Gallo Nero down the road, we tried our luck at this place. Despite not having a reservation, the staff were very welcoming and offered us a table near bar. From then on, we had a wonderful evening in a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Tomato & Shrimp Risotto and a glass of Grauburgunder, which turned out to be an excellent choice. My girlfriend was also very pleased with her Truffle Spaghetti and red wine. We didn't order dessert, but guests who did seemed happy with what the Kleiner Speisesaal had to offer. Highly recommended.
