This is really unfortunate because the sushi is some of the best in the city, but the way the owner treats his staff is honestly disgusting. Berating and yelling at your hardworking staff within earshot of customers is not a good look. I will not be back.

I ordered the tempura appetizer, ko-doraku roll and spicy salmon roll. While the food was tasty it was a far cry from what I remembered as a teen growing up in Nova Scotia. The shrimp in both the appetizer and roll was overcooked and the size of the ko-doraku roll was much smaller than I remember. I do not discourage anyone from trying this restaurant but I was disappointed and sad to see a place I loved so much take a dip in quality while increasing in price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Did you order at the restaurant or did you order through Uber Eats? Uber Eats price is higher than our dine in price since Uber charges more. And our prices are very reasonable and fair to our customers considering the increase of high food prices. We do not overcook any of our food and you should dine in and order 4 pieces of Kodoraku Roll. The size is the same as I was trained by Shuji, the original owner.
