Overrated.  Meats are fresh, however they are sliced paper thin and practically disintegrate in the broth.  Over priced
THESE ARE THE RULES: if you're doing the "all you can eat" you first choose your broth. You have THREE ROUNDS of choosing ingredients. You get a menu, select AS MANY of the ingredients as you want (some limits on quantity for certain items) and then your selection will be brought to you. You throw in your ingredients, eat everything, and then repeat the process of choosing your ingredients and eating said ingredients. Here's what you need to know: yes like many hot pot places they have meats, noodles, seafood, and veggies, all of great quality. HOWEVER, what makes the hotpot is, first and foremost, the BROTH, and I can assure you with all my being that THE BROTHS ARE AMAZING. If you're looking to experience some HIGH QUALIFY FLAVOURS (that's "FLAVORS" with that extra European "U" to emphasis how sophisticatedly delicious it is) this is the place to go! Even if you're a hot pot connoisseur with a fancy palate, I'm sure you will enjoy the broth flavors. Ultimately: I barely finished round 2, not due to willpower but because I ate way too much delicious food and broth (I weighted myself and gained 7 lbs post meal). Don't be wary because of the 3 rounds thing. There will definitely be enough to satisy you.
Had dinner with cuzzin Su because it's still the "cold front" season this time of year so we ready to have some hot pot soup! We were introduced to something new and I'm loving it! Fish ball with roe inside, Whhaaat! Yups! It's sooo good, that's my all fave now and no more meat! Hahaha, jk but really it's that good! We ordered the platters of various meats & mushrooms. Cuttle fish balls, quail eggs, kabocha, bok Choy, seasoned cumcumber side dish, and rice. We also tried their watermelon juice drink that was refreshing. We had a good time and enjoyed the hot savory house special soup that complemented everything. Also they got new sides that's served next to the sauces. Cold sides of seaweed, 2 different types of mushrooms, seasoned peanuts and cut up oranges. Which I thought was pretty cool. Service was good but the location and atmosphere was right on, because We got there and not busy at all for a Friday evening! Thank you Su :) The month was due for soup, so as regulars we came back for yummo slurps here. I'm still trying to master the sauce mixing a to my pleasure but that's still on the works. Love the veggie platter and next time we're going to split the broth so it'll be one for just meats and the other just seafood. We feel it'll taste so much better too. Until next month, we be back again.
