Note this is located in the KS Lo Gallery, you will enter through the main entrance of it and a secondary entrance through the main. The menu is fully vegetarian and has a host of tea choices. We tried a host of dim sum dishes and they were excellent. A mass of tea choices to accompany it as well.

Located in Hong Kong Park, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We arrived at Lock Cha Tea Shop by using public transportation (I can't stress enough how convenient it is to get around via the trains and street cars) followed by a brief walk from the station to the restaurant (less than five minutes). The tea shop shares its location with the Flagstaff House Museum, which boast as a free attraction where visitors can learn about tea fixtures and China's history as a tea drinking nation. Walking into the restaurant I was immediately astonished by the diverse selections of teas and accessories. Though the museum was closed for the day, Lock Cha Tea Shop has its own collection on display. The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance- very relaxed, perfect for a laid-back afternoon lunch date. Known for its vegetarian din sum and mission to supply the finest tea, it was a no brainer that our order consisted of both. After much self-deliberation because there were so many options (does anyone else get overwhelmed when provided numerous choices) I ordered the Shengmiaoxiang Tieguanyin tea. According to their tea menu this was an Anxi Greenish Tea, which was thoroughly rolled, with a semi oxidized- flowery and sweet rooted fragrance. The meal was enjoyable, not too light or heavy for the afternoon. I savored the fact that tea orders are served in a teapot rather than individual cup serving. This allowed for a surplus of tea, which I shared with my two lunch dates. The Din Sum, though bite size were satisfying and tasty. Fresh from the kitchen to the table. We ended the meal with dessert, which I could have forgone. I will put the disclaimer out that I don't typically indulge or have a taste for an after meal snack, so my opinion may have been bias. I would recommend trying some of the items on the dessert menu and seeing how they fare with your taste buds.
