We made reservations at Lombardi’s so we could see the musical guest, Dino DiNicolo. He was fantastic (the 4 stars for atmosphere are for him) and I would recommend seeing him anywhere. The rest of experience was far below expectations. The pizzas (#1, 5, 8) were lacking flavor, surprising for an Italian restaurant in the drive. We all had to add cheese and salt to enhance the taste. The Lombardi’s salad was excellent, especially the dressing. We ordered the antipasto to start, specifically requesting the meat (salami) be kept separate, as we had a few vegetarians. The server stated “every item is served separately” so we were happy. When the plate arrived, we were surprised to see the meat, cheese and pickled vegetables, all piled on top of each other. As well, there was way more meat than was indicated on the menu. The plate also lacked artichokes, and a few other things that were listed, the olives looked like they came from a jar of the grocery store, neither is not what we would expect from Italian restaurant. When we asked where the bread was, the server indicated that you have to request the bread, Again, this was not mentioned on the menu. Nor did the server ask us if we wanted any bread. Overall, the server seemed not interested in serving us, and in fact, with rolled her eyes a couple times. The last, and I think most important part of the lacking service was that for a party of six the gratuity was included, however, the server did not mention it to the people who were paying. Every one of us did not notice, and despite the service, gave her a gratuity on top. At restaurants at which the gratuity is included servers generally inform the patrons, just to be a good people. In the situation, the person who served us did not seem to care that some of us were paying way more than the norm. Definitely will not be returning to this restaurant. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I usually don't eat pizza crust, but I finished it off here since it was so crusty. Our other favorite was the antipasto – it's a beautiful platter. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you eat at Lombardo's Pizzeria & Ristorante PLEASE READ (sorry it's so long)
I will first start off by saying that I LOVED Lombardo's. I think during these times (Covid) its very important to show support to local businesses. Especially businesses which I've been going to since I was a kid and have always had amazing experiences and fond family gatherings there.
Today we had a different experience. I'm writing to warn others NOT to go there. We had a decent meal. Good not great. The calamari was the worst I've ever had it there, they made the house salad wrong, the food came slowly and the one waitress for all the tables didn't help. But we get it, times are tough for everyone.
As we were eating dinner, a women from another table, stood up with a menu in one hand and the bill in the other and proceeded to yell "Check your bills, they are ripping us off! They are charging more on the bills then what it says on the menu." I heard what she said...but to be honest she sounded a little crazy. Needless to say when the bill came I checked it over. I noticed that every food item was $.50 to $3.00 more then what the menu listed. The waitress saw me looking it over and came to say she would adjust the prices. I asked her why it was more on the reciept. She said the increase was due to distributer price inflation. Since it was a recent increase they didn't have time to change the menus.
While she went to fix the bill, two tables noticed what happened. One table asked the waitress when they changed their prices. The waitress said she wasn't exactly sure but about a year ago. ONE YEAR AGO and you didn't have time to change your menus????!!!!
After looking on their website, I realized they did update their prices online. However I noticed it says they charge an automatic gratuity of 18% for a party of 8 or more. We only had 6 people!!!!
Throughout the ordeal, the poor waitress had to deal with the brunt of it all. No manager/owner came to talk to anyone.
Needless to say, this was such a disappointment and we all left feeling angry that an establishment that has been around since 1986 (not the Original owners) would be willing to risk repeated customers by being deceitful. To be honest, all they needed to do was tell us from the beginning that the prices were slightly higher, and they hadn't yet changed the menus, and we would have said OK.
It is sad to say, but we will never return ????
