After a lot of contemplation I’m posting this review with a heavy heart. Despite communicating and trying to find a resolution to the issues we have raised with the G-Bar, no explanation or resolution has been offered. Do not use this company. They failed to apply for a licence in time for our wedding and informed us of this mistake 5 days before the event!! We ended up paying a large amount up front so that we would still have a full bar at our reception and trusted Gemma to do right by us and refund any balance not used at the event. They refused to ring items through a till, didn't provide any evidence of a stock take before and after the event to show what had been consumed and then demanded an additional £500 after the event which we stupidly paid.
We have repeatedly asked for evidence of what was consumed at the event and asked for copies of invoices for the amounts paid - nothing has been sent. We asked for this as we have misgivings over what we were charged vs the amount of drinking guests we had on the night.
Gemma replied to emails initially saying that she would look into our enquiry and then stopped responding. We hoped for a resolution, but nothing has been forthcoming. It’s such a shame as we had a great night at our wedding but feel saddened by this experience and the stress and debt it has caused us.

The new owners booked us in for a wedding in October. Unfortunately they had to cancel on us about 10 days before it due to a long-awaited surgery (totally understand that, a pain but we sorted something else out). The promised refund of £250 has still not arrived. I've emailed and phoned and had nothing so far. So, new owners, if you read this please do get in contact to sort out my money. Next steps may well involve the small claims court.
