What an outrageous experience! I made a reservation online, for which I received an official confirmation. But when I appeared, although the restaurant knew of the reservation, they were full--no table! The incredible response of the person (manager?) I spoke with was: there is nothing I can do about it. No apology, no "sorry for the misunderstanding," only the mention that this had just happened to another customer just before us. I am astonished and will recommend everyone to avoid this place--your reservation, even confirmed, is worth nothing to them!

Fantastic food, expertly served. Big portions. Was having dinner there with a friend, and we both enjoyed the service and the curries very much. The tandoori roti was also great. This was my second visit to Delft and my second visit to Maharaja Restaurant. When I hopefully return again some day, I will definitely eat there again.Vegetarian options: Not much to add here: as most people probably are aware, there are lots and lots of tasty vegetarian curries in Indian cuisine, and this restaurant is no exception. A heaven for vegetarians! I had the Tadka Dal (lentils) and it was delicious and appropriately spicy.
