Had this place bookmarked and it was kinda confusing for me to find. The entrance is kinda narrow and I missed it on the way trying to find it. I had actually gone to another brightly lit restaurant and asked them for instructions and realized that I had passed it. Anyways they let me choose any seat available and so I did; the menu came out quickly (they also have English menus here). I went for the wonton (shrimp dumpling) with noodle in soup. Small size is HK$40, regular size is HK$60. They also have a combo of pork dumpling as well but alas I did not go for those. The food came out promptly and even though I was getting this more or less as a snack. If you're coming as a meal, maybe get a large and then another small to tide you over. The egg noodle here is freaking fantastic mixed with the soup. The shrimp wontons - they do not skimp on the shrimp here. It's a crunch and they're decent size. The meat here is seasoned well but if you mix with the shrimp the shrimp is gonna win out on the flavor. And the final thing - their soup. Their soup is absolutely divine. It kinda feels so bad for you (do they add oil) but the Chinese chives gives a subtle hint that elevates that soup. It's a perfect match all around and my gosh should I have ordered another one. Or pork. Maybe I'll come back. Service here is just ite. Had some trouble cuz I'm not good at the Chinese but luckily there was a guy who could help translate for me. I believe it was cash only because I remember payin with cash haha.
My favorite wonton noodle place of all time. Flew all the way from the US for this. The noodles are perfectly cooked with a little spring (how it should be). And the beef is cooked so well it almost melts in your mouth. I recommend the wonton + dumpling noodle and the beef+tendon lo mein. Also their chili oil here is straight fire. Definitely a low key place you can't find unless you're from around here. I don't really take the time to write reviews unless I really feel the need to and I really think everyone should try this place ;)
Food is good and cheap but you need to overcome the outdoors environment especially during tbe Summer
