We were there yesterday for our Christmas party, instead of 8, we only came with 7 people. The table was booked from 6 p.m. The light in the restaurant came on exactly at 6 p.m. When you came in, it smelled musty, as if it was damp somewhere (several of us noticed that), well, that could be the case. When we were led to our table, it was first pushed together :(. Where can you get something like that? Well, despite the fact that we were the first, we waited at least 15 minutes for our aperitif... and the glasses were still there when we left. There aren't really many dishes to choose from on the menu, but that's not a bad thing if the ones that are on it are also delicious. There was also no daily or specialty menu as is often the case at festivities I know other restaurants. You won't really find anything on the menu for vegetarians, even though I personally love meat. No matter, only 2 people ate a starter. There was 1 x vegetable soup and it didn't look tasty, but overcooked What it tasted like, I have no idea. There was bruschetta once. For the main course I ordered beef fillet with pepper and sauce, as well as just salad and fries. First came a salad (1 small handful of lettuce with about 1/4 grated carrot, it didn't taste like anything...so you had to season it yourself...), my fillet was cooked medium, not really fried, more like steamed, you needed pepper I looked for it, it was nowhere to be found and the sauce tasted sour. The fries that came with it were probably a small woman's handful, not crispy fried and would probably have been a small children's portion, and there were some vegetables too. Just by looking at it, you were disappointed and knew you wouldn't get enough. But at least the meat tasted good. But at this price it's subpar and if I had had to pay for it myself, I would have complained about everything. But I didn't want to do that to our boss. Two of my colleagues had ordered steak medium, they were fried rare and on the steak with additional mushrooms, some of them were raw, the rest was just as bad as mine. I then went to the front and complained that the meat had to be fried...the look I got...no matter what you order, you should get it. Another colleague had breaded veal schnitzel, the rest was like the rest of us. It looked like a flattened shoe sole, breading, wasn't really visible, let alone crispy and it wasn't tender either. It would probably be too much to write about the rest. We ate it, but only because it was the Christmas party. But we were completely disappointed. It can't be that all the food wasn't good, you wouldn't say anything about one. I also ordered red wine, when I asked which Primitivo they had, only Primitivo came back. But I wanted to know which winery and what it was like, I got the same answer 3 times and then, we have Primitivo and Chianti...What can I say to that? For us girls it was really surprising that there were so many guests there and we were totally amazed by it. It's not my style to say something bad, but nothing here was as it could be, I had dinner there years ago and it was tasty, but like today, that's not possible. Everywhere else you go to an Italian restaurant, there is even antipasti with the baguette and nice waiters... I'm really sorry that I'm describing this in so much detail here, but maybe something will change for future guests.
