While walking downtown Wichita, we happened upon this place when they were opening up at 3 PM. The day we went, they had four dollar beers. We were not hungry, but we did order the fried pickles. The fried pickles were pretty good. I am very picky about my fried pickles and this place did a good job with them. I'm not a big beer person, but I typically can have a light beer or a stout. They did let me taste two different beers and I ended up getting Czech yo'self (light beer). It was easy to drink. It was smooth. The place has inside and outside seating. The outside seating is dog friendly and there's plenty of room. If you sit inside, a waitress comes to you. If you sit outside, you have to go to the window to order. There's plenty of street parking nearby. It seems like a fun place with activities. Our waitress was super nice and even gave us pointers at what to do while we were in town.

Norton's has a great atmosphere. There is an awesome patio area with live music on the weekends. There is a great selection of food including a crazy double cheeseburger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. The beers they brew are very good. My favorite was a coffee infused nitro stout. I finished with the triple chocolate cheesecake. Make sure you get the bacon crack. Randy Santel & I became the first two people to defeat the new 7 pound "Munchie Monster" Challenge at Nortons Brewing Company in Wichita, Kansas. We each had 45 minutes to finish a cheeseburger consisting of four 1/3 pound smash burger patties, with deep fried Monte Cristo (Turkey, Black Forest ham, & Swiss cheese) sandwiches, dusted with powdered sugar, & a grilled cheese sandwich in the center. There are 2 orders of Spicy Cluckin' Egg Fries, which included pepper jack cheese, jalapeño, cilantro, fried eggs, red onion, & ranchero chicken. Lastly, there was an order of bacon crack, which is thick hand cut candied bacon, with a maple syrup, honey, & brown sugar glaze, then seasoned with cracked black pepper, & cayenne. Served with brown sugar honey cream cheese. Randy finished in 41:10 & I finished in 44:58. For winning, Randy & I each received the $75 meal for free, sweet shirts, & the first two spots on the Wall of Fame! Huge thanks to the owners, Dan & Becky, for letting us take on the challenge!
