Very cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and spa, although a bit difficult and too few people working at the spa to be able to book a treatment However, worth a weekend if you want to take a bubble bath in the open and have a sauna (especially in winter) Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 5

The facility is located in prime location with fantastic design, rooms are tidy, mid-size. You will be charged something extra for sea-view rooms (I did pay for it) but the view was actually occupied with trees and it was not up to my expectation. I arrived at a pre-coordinated time to the hotel but a person working at the restaurant did the check it for us which was abit weird. We were given no explanation about WIFI log in but in general it went quite smooth. SPA facility-however breathtaking- is located around 250meters out of the building so you have to walk into that with towels which could be a hassel during windy days or cold seasons. The TV channels options were quite limited (only Swedish channels) and I had no access to International News channels thats almost a must in every top notch hotel these days. Remote control was not functioning and I had to walk to the reception and again talk to one of restaurant personnel to come to my room and have it fixed. The NEED FOR WALK TO THE RECEPTION is even more unreasonable and that THERE IS NO TELEPHONE IN THE ROOMS for a direct call to reception (or anywhere else). So you get the feeling that right after payment (upon your arrival), you are in hands of no one anymore. If anything happens to you, you should take care of yourself and this was the strangest thing I noticed in a renovated room that I was staying at. The reception admitted that its a mistake however she wasn't able to get it fixed. We booked a dinner at the hotel restaurant and I noticed there was no one attending to us (after receiving order from us) because the person who received the order was busy at check-in counter! Breakfast was fabulous with high quality content, deliciously made but again an unattended with any personnel, so the tables are not cleaned immediately and you literally have to look around and find an empty table and eat your breakfast! if you can't find something, no one is there to help... In my opinion the breaksfast is badly missing a Espresso machine with some options for highly-paying guests... All in all I would give a 2 star review to the management and 4 start to the hotel itself. Still to be in safe side and to modify your expectations if you read my review, I prefer to stick to 3. This doesn't diminish the value of a very friendly person called Danielle who acts as a multi-task person at the reception and restaurant simultaneously but the Nynäs Havsbad management has definitely a HUGE room for improvement...
