AMAZING FOOD. WONDERFUL LOCATION. AWESOME SERVICE! Cannot rate this place highly enough. Note this restaurant is the same as the one called Seljacko Domastincvo Culig in google, so see there for more reviews. However to get to this restaurant use the google address for OPG Culig (68L vrhovac), not the one for seljacko Culig. The hosts are very warm and welcoming but do not speak English, this was not a problem for us, just gave the meal a more traditional feel. And truly this was delicious, home cooked Croatian food. The restaurant and B&B is located on a hill surrounded by their own red (cab sav) and white wine(sauvignon and grasevina) grapes. The hosts welcomed us in with home made aronia juice and house brandy. The first course was a delicious potato ham and cheese fritaja, followed by a tasty chicken and vegetable soup with hand rolled traditional pasta pieces. The main was a shared plate of grilled chicken and pork with mushroom risotto and spiced potatoes. The dessert was the house apple strudel. Such good hearty food, it was great. We ate from the table on the upper deck and the views are breath taking. Beautiful interior design and lovely atmosphere.Honestly would come back for the amazing location and views, great hospitality, and beautiful food.
