One of the worst bars on the island. Food quality was unacceptable and had both hair and bits of plastic in it on my first visit (before they removed the Smash Bros. arcade), but decided to give it another shot. Terrible idea. Besides unsatisfactory sanitization standards, the staff here have extreme anger management issues and will actually become violent with their patrons for simple things such as using the restroom while waiting in line to order drinks. Imagine forcibly opening the restroom door on someone while they are sat on the toilet using the restroom, for everyone in the bar to see, and then having them kick you out for no discernible reason while shouting "we choose who we serve" and threatening to call police. The staff here are probably racist, and if you support them then you are supporting the worst of Hawaii. These people have no Aloha, and they not only treat people lower than animals, but are quick to engage in physical threats of violence in lieu of reasonable conflict resolution. I was actually tearing up after this ordeal, I've never been treated worse by bar staff in my life. Do yourself a favour and go to any other bar scene on the island. There are much better options. We are in the process of reporting Osoyami to the BBB and have them conduct safety inspections, to ensure no one gets sick. The only redeeming quality of this place is they have vegan options. Don’t know if you remember this but you showed up with a liquor bottle in hand, argued why you couldn’t have it, and then tried to pick a fight with a customer who was trying to use the restroom.

Osoyami Bar and Grill truly is oh-so-yummy! My friend suggested coming here since we weren't ready to end the night but wanted a change of scene. I'd never been but have wanted to visit for quite some time so I was more than down. It was the perfect place to end our night as the food and drink menu was affordable, the service was efficient, and the vibes were lowkey. My friend drove us here on a weekday night. They have their own parking lot. When we entered, the restaurant was quiet and not crowded (granted it was a weekday night). We were immediately seated and given the menu. I was shocked to see such affordable prices plus a vegan menu! Although we both aren't vegan, my friend raved about their vegan menu. She ended up ordering the Vegan Teriyaki Chicken Burger and we shared the Vegan Kimchi Potstickers. I don't eat beef or cheese and tend to stay away from burgers because of both of those things. My friend suggested that I try their vegan burgers which I hope to do so next time! Her burger looked savory, delicious, and satisfying! The potstickers were good but nothing noteworthy. It was crispy, bite-sized, and had a subtle kimchi flavor to it. The ambiance of the bar gave me a casual and laid-back feel to it. It's pretty spacious with a lot of booth seating as well as a bathroom. There are lots of tv's and games laid out inside. Service was chill as our orders came out relatively fast. Although, our server did mix up our bills and we ended up paying for someone else's but it wasn't an issue and he was apologetic about it. Osoyami is the place to go if you're looking for a chill or fun night out with friends! The bar is spacious and the service is friendly. For your typical bar food, the quality is great and the prices are affordable. The menu has a wide variety for everyone--especially those who are vegan! If I lived closer I'd come by more often. But this place is on my rotation for places I'd like to go with friends and I can't wait to come back again to try their burgers!
