Have been here a couple of times now & love the fish, love the coffee, great atmosphere & Katherine is a super friendly hostess who will go the extra mile if u have a food preference. I would recommend to anyone to turn off just before Welsford on SH16 & go check the Port Albert General Store out. It's like stepping back in time... in a nice way, whether sunny or rainy. Great outdoor seating if it's sunny, cosy seating inside if it's raining. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for pushchairs &, kids to run around Parking: As it's out in the country there are about 5 spots to park outside & then plenty of parking on side of the road. Wheelchair accessibility: I think there is a ramp or just a couple of stairs. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free street parking
