Es realmente una buena opción para disfrutar del buen sushi. El ambiente es bastante agradable.

Dear Rice and Fish, Thank you for existing. As a So-Cal native who moved to Paris, it was a hard transition for me to find food from home. Sure, France has amazing French food. But on days when I can't stand to eat another baguette or be poo-pooed at by a snobby French woman at Monoprix when I can't figure out how to translate what this weird sausage thing is, it's really nice to find a down to earth place to eat comfort food. I love California style sushi. The sauces, the fusion, the big fatty rolls. Yet sushi in Paris is mostly miserable. They don't got it. It's undressed (no sauces), not fresh, and it's just... strange. I've had semi-melted hamburger cheese on a sushi roll before (ahem, Planet Sushi). Also-- the weird tempura raclette thing--- please Paris stop! But Rice and Fish, you do good. The rolls are big, they've got Japanese meets Mexican down, and the price is right. I am obsessed with the Crunchy St. Jacques Roll and the Zatalan (sp?) Roll. The food is really reminiscent of the cool fusion sushi you'd find in Orange County. The Chef is a California Native as well and you can see him working hard on each roll behind the counter. He's a pretty friendly dude who makes delicious sushi. I would give this place 5 stars but I had to leave off one for the service. There's usually only one waiter working at a time, so service can be less than excellent (long waiting times). The French waiter that works there is pretty rude, so watch out for him. While wait service in France is really different than in America, he was straight up mean to us (making really bad remarks to us in French, wouldn't let us change a dirty place setting, purposely served us slowly while treating the other customers next to us with extra care, and he also made me sit in this crammed corner where there were other open seats and then kept slamming into me). I haven't had that waiter since and all my other times at the restaurant have been great.
