Great chicken and fries, very close to the convention center. Owner is very nice. Food is fresh. Menu is simple but delicious

Wow. Simply delicious. Family owned (2 Dutch sisters) who have simple home cooked dishes that are truly amazing. For lunch I had Provençal Chicken with fries that came with a salad. Washed it down with a cold Heineken. This is just across the street from the convention center and gets lost in the many restaurants but is a must go for me now. It does not get better then this. You can sit outside on small curbside tables or eat inside on the large communal "Chef's Table."... hence the name. I chose to sit inside and can't wait to do it again.

Scenario: trade show at Rai Center. Taxi line is 45 mins or more. Choice: freeze or look around for a change of plans. Directly across the street is Chefs. Community table, funk playing "It'a Love Thang", roasting chicken, Belgian fries, homemade mayo, homemade ketchup, homemade Dijon dressing for salad. Get the picture. An oasis in the Rai. I could write a book about how great it is to leave a trade show many time zones from home, and be welcomed in this space. Basically the chef's home kitchen. They deliver via various methods, but I will be back. Maybe tomorrow!
