The food here is fantastic. Service is also fantastic, great staff. I can’t name any, but they’re good every time. Prices are extremely reasonable! Have you eaten fast food lately, it’s outrageous, but these prices are edible! lol. Recently purchased a Beef and Truffle pie - oh my... Every bite was a delicacy. My strong recommendation Last time I had a Cornish Pastie this good, I was in Cornwall. Saltchuck pasties are baked on the premises, and it shows. The people who baked these, really know how to make an excellent Pastie - and their Beef with Truffle pies are now added to my list of excellent pies. The beef and truffle was rich in flavour with an excellent flaky pastry. I could not recommend it too highly. If you want a high quality pastie, I recommend driving past every pie shop in town, until you reach the Saltchuck Pie Company. Here, you can buy a pastie that is plump with high quality, tasty ingredients. The pastry was just perfect for taste, texture and thickness. The meat content was much higher than the veggie content, and all in all, it was an excellent small meal. These bakers have paid it forward, to earn a well deserved Five Stars. I'll be back. ... and now I am back, having just celebrated my birthday again. I purchased frozen pasties for my guests, and baked them at home (instructions were supplied) I provided nice ketchup and other condiments to enjoy with the pasties. It all went down a treat . Great experience, especially from Danielle. She helped me inside with my stroller (two kids in tow), she had a special fresh pie made up on the spot and helped me back outside/down the stairs. She and the staff are amazing. The chicken pot pie was so delicious.
