We had lunch at Schweinske today because we still had to wait for our train. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, the schnitzel is fried properly in the pan and not in the deep fryer - very good. However, the side salad could have had a dollop more dressing as it was quite dry. Freshly baked rolls (you can see that they are handmade) with aioli cream are available free of charge in advance. Both very tasty! About the ambience: it's just the Hamburg main station, so you don't need to fool yourself. There was a corresponding clientele in the area around the shop and partly in the restaurant, although the waitresses were on their toes and invited the ladies straight outside! Depending on which table you have, it can be tight, especially right next to the window. If you have luggage with you it gets very tight. Cleanliness was okay, unfortunately there was a huge stain on the inside of the window behind our table that could have been removed. Toilets are clean, but I don't understand why in a restaurant where you've already paid for your meal there's a gentleman sitting in front of the toilet with a plate for change. Due to our location at the main station, we have to employ extra staff for the sanitary facilities. Of course, the guests of the restaurant should not pay for the use of the facilities; this is only intended for external visitors who do not come to our restaurant but only want to use the toilet.
