For the geographical handicapped; Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Assam, Manipur, and Mizoram form the 7 sisters of India. The restaurant brings you dishes from these parts of India which are rare to find. I'll be honest I don't really know how any of these dishes are supposed to taste but whatever they serve at 7 sisters tastes amazing!
I love their thukpa..it is rich in vegetables and broth they use is delicious. Ofcourse there are the momos served with ejay(atleast their version of it). The pork dishes aren't for everyone so I would be weary. Recently I tried the mosdeng cone which was awesome too.
I have to point out that when you taste their food it doesn't seem like you're eating in a restaurant because it's low on the oil and unnecessary presentation..it is food for the love of food and that's what brings me back everytime.
The service is slow and many times I've found the waiters inattentive. The restaurant itself is open so but we'll done up. It could use more lighting though along with mosquito repellents. All in all a must try if you want to taste this kind of cuisine.
