Always enjoy coming to the Golden Boot, Staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs, The food is amazing the kitchen really does know what their doing been here too many times and the consistency is always up to par. The Golden Boot is Classic Upscale Italian in a super casual setting. The setting is very come as you are. It is like a NY neighbourhood joint only it’s in Coquitlam just steps away from Austin avenue. The Growing Austin Heights community has a real gem for Food , services, comfort and staff that have a great personality. We’ve been several times now. Their Pizza is incredible. As are the Salads, soups and desserts. Vancouver casual atmosphere. Not a fancy place. Definitely bring your family. Parking is a bit of a challenge at times. But there is free parking in the area. The Golden Boot is a gem of a restaurant in this part of Coquitlam that serves classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. I was delighted by the variety on the menu and quality of the food, the friendly and attentive service, and the cozy, be it a little dated, and inviting atmosphere. I started with the minestrone soup, which was hearty and flavourful, with chunks of vegetables and beans in a rich tomato broth. It was served with a slice of crusty bread, perfect for dipping. The soup was so satisfying that I almost forgot to leave room for the main course. For the main course, I chose the penne alla voka, which was one of the best I've ever had. The pasta was cooked al dente, coated with a creamy tomato sauce that had just the right amount of saltiness from the bacon. The portion was generous but not overwhelming. It was a simple but satisfying dish that hit all the right notes. For dessert, I couldn't resist the tiramisu, which was highly recommended by everyone, I told I was going here. It was a heavenly concoction soaked in espresso and rum, layered with mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder. It was light and fluffy, maybe too sweet for me. My son definitely liked it more than I did. The Golden Boot is a place where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine without breaking the bank. The prices are reasonable, the portions are ample, and the quality is superb. It's no wonder that this restaurant has been voted as one of the best Italian restaurants in Coquitlam. If you're looking for a place to treat yourself or your loved ones, look no further than The Golden Boot. You won't regret it. Vegetarian options: They have a few options.
