I tried this funky restaurant while visiting OKC to celebrate a friend's wedding. Her husband to be was the one that recommended it, and after looking it up on Yelp, there was no question that we had to try this place.   The good: You can't beat the $15/bottle champagne with an assortment of juices which makes for a great group mimosa drinking session. In addition, Bloody Mary's are only $5 and very tasty. If you want a starter, look no further than the skillet of queso. It's pretty large so be sure to share with a group so you have room for the rest of the delicious food. The chicken and biscuit sandwich was also delicious as were the breakfast tacos and the breakfast hash. Fair warning, the breakfast hash comes with a full on mashed sweet potato which is unconventional and weird if you didn't read the menu closely and aren't expecting it.  It ended up being so good and so close to the house that we came back the next day to kill time and order drinks before meeting up with the rest of the bridal party. The bad: When we went back on the second day, the bartender working was less than thrilled while he waited on us. He looked genuinely hungover and annoyed that we were there ordering drinks. What I would do differently: Get the freaking Chili Mac because it looks absolutely DELICIOUS!
Loved the shrimp and grits.
We came for Valentine's Day and it made for a nice date. The ambiance is inviting, not too bright, not to dark, fun farmhouse chic decor, with flowers on each table. Patio looks like it would be fun in warmer weather. Had a good mule and my husband's beer included the double old fashioned glass it was served in. I don't remember exactly what we ate, but we both really enjoyed our meals, quality and flavors. I got bread pudding to go and it was off the charts. I think the only reason we haven't been back is that we have so many great options within walking distance, which this is not.
