Love the atmosphere. Don’t love that you have to stand in line to order and then go back up to pay. Food was really good. We had the fish tacos. So disappointing ! The food at The Wyld was really below-average and the portions were tiny. The prices were high. The dining area was really untidy and dirty. The server was very rude and dismissive. Overall a really terrible experience. We have been here many times before and can't understand why the standards have suddenly dropped so quickly and to such a huge extent. It's such a pity as the location is hard to beat and this was our favorite Savannah restaurant. We ordered fish tacos and a hamburger. On our last visit to The Wyld, we were served 3 substantial fish tacos for $18 but they're suddenly serving only 2 very measly tacos for the same price. Each taco had one tiny piece of fish with some cilantro. I asked our server if it would be possible to please have some more fillings and he looked very bothered by my request. He suggested more cilantro and onion but then returned and just threw a tiny container of salsa on the table in a really rude manner. The burger was $17 and 1/2 the size of what they used to serve. It tasted really sub-par. We will no longer be regular visitors to The Wyld and I can tell from reading reviews by other regular customers that they feel the same way. I'm not sure why the service, portions and standards have decreased so hugely but Management should value their customers and at least address some of these complaints.
