Excellent food. I tried the katsu inspired burger and ube French toast and would recommend both! I would say don’t order French toast to go or it won’t be as good. Excellent service. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"Breakfast is a meal with an incredible emotional charge. It's a feeling of fellowship that is unlike any other meal of the day." ― Anthony Bourdain When Mike D. and Kira D. said they wanted to pop into Truffles N Bacon Cafe for the ube french toast, I quickly replied, "OKAY!" Having never been here, I'm a fan now. And like all Yelpers, you know I was studying the menu well before we were even in town. Everything I ordered: Spam Fries (Featured on Netflix - Fresh, Fried and Crispy. Katsu style deep-fried Spam strips paired with sriracha ranch): The host of Fresh, Fried, and Crispy, Daymon Patterson (Daym Drops) said these were the best bite of the place and while good, I disagree. As someone who eats Spam regularly enough, dare I say you could pass on these? They were good but you could also make them at home, y'all! Ube French Toast (Featured on Netflix - Fresh, Fried and Crispy. Ube bread French toast, ube cream cheese filling, coconut strings, ube jam & condensed milk drizzle): Get. This. Periodt. My gosh! As someone who tends to prefer more savory foods, these had my sweet tooth singing. So so so good. The most perfect french toast with globs and globs of purple ube goodness... it was amazing. Not as sweet as it looks, I would go back just for the french toast any day. Buco Pandan Drink (A refreshing drink made with coconut water & coconut milk, mixed with pandan flavoring and topped with pandan whipped cream and Fruity Pebble Sprinkles): An excellent beverage. What could only be described as a pandan explosion, this was a great drink. Get it for the Instagram. It's not necessary and you won't be missing much if you pass but it's a lovely drink. All in all, what an excellent breakfast spot. I highly recommend this place to all my friends!
