I've been eyeing this food truck for some time now and finally got to try it at the north van night market! The pizzas are personal size and range in price from $8-$10. I tried the Bella pizza which had pepperoni, olives, red onion and tomatoes. The toppings were great and the sauce was sweet. Overall the flavour was good. The pizza base was very disappointing. It tasted like pita bread straight from a Costco package. It wasn't even crispy or firm. It was very flimsy and even though it was warmed up in the wood fire oven, it didn't crisp up at all. Flavours were good but wood fire pizza is all about the base. Not a fan :(
I've had their pizza a few times at different events and at the first Food Cart Festival. Just be prepared to wait a decent length for your Pizza, especially during peak periods. Prices are high but very tasty.
