I drove this morning to pick up food in Salt Lake closer to my job. Didn't get my 3 breakfast sandwiches, didn't take receipt, so no proof. I had full clinic scheduled, so there was no time to drive back and forth. Agreed to take different bread and didn't get even a bag for it. The guy from kitchen just walked out, handed them to me and walked back to kitchen. Never will come back to this location.

I don't think you can go wrong eating anything from here. SO GOOD! Their pizza changed my life. I love their salads and sandwiches. Seriously this place is amazing. That honey rye bread... to die for!

The Village Baker is known for far more than its brownies, but a brownie is what I'm basing this review off today, since that's all I tried. The brownie had a lovely chocolate frosting on top with a clean design. I liked the look of it. The texture was great-not over done and not dry. There were also walnuts in the brownie-something people will either love or hate. I don't usually prefer nuts in my brownies, but in this one, the walnuts were a good compliment to the sweet chocolate. I look forward to visiting soon and trying more menu items.
