The food is excellent and tasty. Portion sizes are generous compared to most other restaurants in Istanbul. It was the first meal since we arrived in Istanbul, that we felt was truly filling. We really enjoyed the food. The restaurant itself is very basic and there is no decor. However, service at the restaurant is poor. The owner and staff are not very attentive to their customers and they often walk past you and ignore you. We arrived at a busy time, but even after the other customers had left and the rush had finished the staff kept ignoring me when I asked for water and did other cleaning tasks instead. We had to continually approach the staff ourselves to place order, get water, get the bill etc. They seemed to treat their Uyghur customers much better. I assume this is because they are regulars at the restaurant. I don't think they really valued our custom as we were tourists. Such a shame. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We made a reservation for iftar. When we arrived, we were told there was no room even though our name was on the list. And they were extremely indifferent, we became victims.

I have been preferring Uyghur restaurants for years. But I came to Yuksel Uygur restaurant for the first time. I ordered from my usual classic menu. It was very successful and had plenty of portions. From the meat to the dough, the Lağmen was wonderful, and the Çüçure was both rich in grains and delicious. Of course, a pot of green tea is a must with our food.
