Based on a recommendation, I definitely had to try the Steakhouse Zum Laugele and it more than lived up to all my expectations. I ordered the rum steak and bacon beans and my companion had the gourmet plate. The rumstick was perfectly medium as I ordered it and the bacon beans were to die for. The gourmet plate couldn't be topped either: pork medallions with cheese spaetzle and cream sauce garnished with fried onions, the meat was again top, the cheese spaetzle were indescribably soft and delicately covered with creamy cheese and the fried onions were crispy and slightly sweet. More than recommended, a must for steak lovers and the price was simply fair for such good quality. I'll definitely be back. This place was great. The ribs were delicious and a big one too. You won't leave here hungry. My friend ordered a salad and he also had problems with cleaning his plate. Definitely worth the visit. The place is also a very climatic one, the service is great and kind. If you'll be somewhere in the region, give it a try. We tested this restaurant with a group of seven people. I personally tried the US hanging tender, the Maultaschen and the homemade spaetzle. The service was first class as was all of the food. For the meat, I would like to set the cooking level lower than desired because all the pieces of meat were on the grill a little too long. But only a small defect. Table reservation is recommended.
