Se comenta que aquí el personal es sofisticado. Su fascinante servicio es un enorme añadido para El Malecon. Se dice que aquí los precios son interesantes. En este lugar, sus invitados disfrutan de un ambiente espectacular y de una decoración cómoda. Pero este lugar recibe valoraciones en Trip constantemente, y su nota no es muy alta en este momento.

NOT a good experience, so I do not recommend going to this place to eat EVER! So I was craving some Dominican food but really didn't want to drive to far from my work place. I decided to go to El Malecon Restaurant located in Miami off of 137av SW and 56th St. for lunch around noon on a Wednesday. I had never been there so I was curious about the place, and then I was very disappointed. I walked in to a very gloomy ambience almost depressing, and it didn't help that I was the only one in the room. Which that lead me to be very confused about why the server was in such a hurry to get my order even coming off a little rude. I asked for certain dishes that are exclusive to the Dominican culture which they didn't have, where I found that strange being that's a specifically Dominican restaurant. I'm very familiar with music and food from this country, so I couldn't be fooled. For starters the music playing softly in the background had nothing to do with Dominican culture and the food was just awful; it had no flavor and especially the rice was under cooked, meat was tough, beans tasted extremely bland, and the mofongo didn't look nor taste like real Dominican mofongo. So it lead me to ask the server which wasn't even from that country; "where was the cook from." She said he was Dominican, I couldn't believe that, lets just say she was telling the truth, the man doesn't know how to cook. Everything I ordered to eat was bad, but I do have one thing good to say, the juice I ordered tasted great, it's too bad I can't say that about the food and the service I received. And to make things worse I had stomach indigestion all night from eating that disgusting food. I expect corrective action to be taken by the GM or owner of this business, on my behalf, that's if they even care!
